In 2018 the exisiting brand name “Student Marketing” was changed to “BONARD” to overcome the company’s challenge of being perceived as a B2B company targeting & marketing to students.
Along with this change, came the need for rebranding to position the brand on the international market
as a leading provider of data and research for International Education and Student Housing. The deadline of the company’s 10th Year Anniversary to introduce new the brand to stakeholders created time pressure to put into effect the rebrand activities.
We realised a 360-degree rebranding of StudentMarketing to BONARD by giving it a fresh and representative look. A new Brand Identity was created around the core pillars of the brand: city, data and connectivity.
We crafted BONARD’s Brand Manual, Social Media & Email Guidelines to ensure consistency on all of the brand’s touchpoints. Branded collateral in the form of corporate letterheads, business cards, leaflets and other marketing materials, such as presentation templates, were also designed & produced with application of new visual identity.
The design and development of a new website followed – optimised for lead generation with a clear user flow to highlight the brand’s core services & solutions on offer. To elevate BONARD’s new identity, we have co-created video script, supported production at one of the European offices and post producted the corporate video.
Throughout the collaboration we provided BONARD with strategic advice to help it reach its goal of being recognised as the leading provider of data & research for International Education and Student Housing on a global scale.
The creative process of branding for BONARD set off with the co-creation of a Brand Strategy. It started with brainstorming sessions, analyzing the client’s mission and envisioning the new identity and Brand Positioning. The main objective was to create a simple, but sophisticated and elegant logo that would help BONARD be easily recognised as the front-runner of data provision & research
for international education & the student housing industry. With that in mind, we introduced the new logo which was designed with bold lettering in white and blue colours, to keep it clean and professional. We also crafted a dynamic animated logo to bring a fresh breath to the brand. The overall style was designed to visually present the expertise, reliability and stability, reflecting the core values of BONARD.
To mark ten years of BONARD, we were commissioned to give the brand a new look, as well as redesign the company’s marketing collateral in different layouts: from brochures and business cards, to white paper designs and presentation templates.
Elements of new Brand Identity were rolled out across all marketing materials, ensuring that all of them are consistent, and presented in a professional and engaging manner.
Our ultimate goal was to bring more attention to BONARD’s core offerings and research insights through the development of a clean, structured user flow, supported by the implementation of relevant call-to-actions for lead generation.
The overall styling of the website was kept consistent with the fresh Brand Identity and persona of the brand. The colour palette was chosen to convey trust and professionalism, while the sleek minimalism of the layout brings attention to the data.
The impact of our work resulted in a base of more than 3K users, page views exceeding 15K and website traffic from more than 70 countries just in few months after Brand Deployment. We are gratified to be part
