CampusKey is a student housing accommodation brand, focused on providing their community a safe and inspiring environment to thrive. CampusKey contacted Spatial Experience to support in elevating the brand to a lifestyle and community focused brand as well as better representing its core values through various digital touchpoints.

CHALLENGE

Strategically repositioning CampusKey offering

CampusKey is an all-purpose student accomodation brand with established operations throughout main students cities in South Africa. Each of their buildings offer a home to local and international students looking for convenience, safety and an environment to learn and grow. Understanding the advancements in specialist real estate, CampusKey's desire to position themselves as a modern, lifestyle driven and attractive student accommodation was key in our collaboration. Moreover strategic advice was needed in order to position, elevate and communicate their community building efforts and products as well as their specific coliving offering.

SOLUTION

Elevating web design and providing art direction

We identified the need for CampusKey website to get a thorough revamp: both from visual communication perspective, user interface (UI) as well as user experience (UX) and storytelling around the way it communicates its offering. Research, audit and analysis of current materials, lead to better definition of the product, brand experience as well as consolidating an enhanced way to communicate its value proposition. During the process of enhancing the online experience and website design and development for CampusKey we also provided art direction and onsite production of new photography and videography that would consolidate its image, as well as enable a stronger emotional connection with its target audience.

IMPACT

Expanding CampusKey product to international audiences

CampusKey is empowered with a brand new website, allowing them to attract the right audience, create genuine communities and maintain high occupancy rates across their portfolio in South Africa. While their PBSA product experience is now rightfully communicated through their online platform, CampusKey is also able to tap into and further expand their coliving and lifestyle (CK Club) product as well as elevate the well known brand in South Africa to an international audience.
